Albania Spouse Granted the Immigration Status
Client: American citizen’s wife
Location: Lakewood, Cleveland, Ohio
Case Type: I-130 IMMIGRATION PEITION FOR ALIENT RELATIVES, FIANCE(E) OR ORPHANS
BACKGROUND: AFTER TWO DISMISSAL OF APPEALS FOR HIS ASYLUM APPLICATIN, our client’s wife, a U.S. citizen, retained us to secure an immigration status for our client, WHO WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF REMOVAL PROCEEDING.
Date of Application: JANUARY 21, 2009
Date of Approval: MARCH 9, 2009
WE HELPED OUR CLIENT simultaneously prove that his marriage was the result of love and trust and that the asylum application should have been approved based on well-founded fear of persecution due to his political activism in his home country
CHALLENGES: When one is dismissed of appeals for one type of immigration application, it will effect the process and result of another application. You must provide all required documents to avoid such effect. More, we were very pressed of time to for the spouse as he was in the middle of removal proceeding. We speeded up the process by seizing the day and finally, we helped our client obtain the approved application.
WITHIN TWO MONTHS, our client was granted an immigration status to stay in the U.S., while awaiting approval of his green card application. Our effort was paid off when our client got the valuable approval from our government.
