Chinese Manager Granted L-1A Visa
Client: A School from Guangdong Province of China
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Case Type: L-1A Visa Application
BACKGROUND: A successful Chinese culinary school planned to establish a similar business in the U.S. The Chinese company funded its new enterprise in Greater Cleveland, Ohio, for training chefs in a restaurant, high-end and authentically Chinese. The culinary school sought our help to bring their choice manager to direct their business in the U.S.
Date of Final Approval: JANUARY 2014
Date of Initial Application: JANUARY 2013
We filed, on behalf of our client, submitted an L-1A petition for the U.S. entity, and the beneficiary, the client’s manager, was approved to work and set up the new business in the U.S.
CHALLENGE: The biggest challenge of the whole process is to prove that the manager meet the requirements of the L-1A Visa and the relevant corporations should provide required documents to accelerate the process. Our client is not familiar with the procedures and the professional translation of some of the legal documents. Thus, we provided a lot of our professional service in this type of demanding case, helping them obtain the visa successfully.
